Rules & Discipline
The pupil must arrive at the school at least five minutes before the first bell.
Students must be clean and tidy in their person, dress and manners. They must wear the correct school uniform daily. Children who are dirty in their dress or person or without the school uniform will not be permitted to sit in the class.
The students should always keep their books clean and well covered. Scribbling on books, desks, wall etc. is strictly forbidden. It shows as want of good breeding and is highly prejudicial to the good tone of the school. The student who has damaged desks, tables etc. must make good the damage.
The school is not responsible for articles lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles like expensive watches, fountain pens, gold ornaments etc. to the school. Books and other belongings should be marked with the name and class.
No books (others than text & library books) or periodicals may be brought to the school premises without the principal's sanction.
No child is allowed to leave the class room without the teacher's permission and the school premises without the permission of the Principal. No pupil will be called to answer phone calls during the class hours.
No collection for any purpose whatever is to be started and no meeting, demonstration, party, excursion, picnic to be organized without the prior permission of the Principal.
Absence from any examination will ordinarily be allowed only on medical ground if it is supported by a medical certificate from registered practitioner. This should invariably be accompanied by a covering letter from the parent indicating the full name, class and section of the student concerned.
Hair styles must be suited to school students. Girls Hair should either be bobbed or plaited.
Pupils are expected to come to school provided with all that is necessary - for the day's work. Borrowing or lending of pens, pencils, erasers, rulers etc. is discouraged.
No child will be excused from games, drill etc. unless Medical Certificate is produced. Those pupils availing themselves of the exemption must remain with the other students.
No entrance for motor vehicles to the school compound is allowed. Cyclists are strictly forbidden to ride in the school compound. Students are expected to converse in English in the school premises. Refinement of manners, habit of obedience, order and neatness in person, dress and punctuality are required at all times.
